Sleeping in Scalar Energy Environment Shown to Improve Nervous System Health, Early Study Finds

In a new pilot study conducted inside a 48-unit Energy Enhancement System™(EE System™), participants showed measurable improvements in heart rate variability (HRV) - a leading biomarker for nervous system resilience - after just three nights of sleep exposure.

Autonomic Regulation Relationship (ARR)

A Non-Invasive, Passive Approach to Nervous System Optimization

The study recruited 27 adult participants, with 25 completing the protocol, and utilized clinically validated HRV testing equipment (Polar H10 with FDA-cleared Nerve Express analysis) to compare physiological data before the first night and after the final session. Unlike meditation, biofeedback, or stimulation-based therapies, the EE System™ requires no mental effort or active participation - participants simply slept inside the scalar field environment.

"This wasn't a performance protocol," said Roland Pankewich, study author. "The idea was to observe whether the body's own intelligence would self-regulate under optimal energetic conditions - and that's exactly what many of the HRV readings suggested."

Measurable Improvements in Key HRV Metrics

The study analyzed two core HRV markers:

  • Fitness Score (FS) - lower values indicate better physiological energy and adaptability.
  • Autonomic Regulation Relationship (ARR) - reflects balance between sympathetic (‘fight-or-flight') and parasympathetic (‘rest-and-heal') activity.

On average, participants experienced:

  • ~15% improvement in Fitness Score, indicating better autonomic stability and energy efficiency
  • Consistent upward trends in parasympathetic recovery, a sign of deeper nervous system rest and regulation

"Even with participants coming from different lifestyles and no restrictions placed on diet, stress, or sleep hygiene - we still saw meaningful and measurable improvements," said Pankewich. "That's significant, because it suggests that the environment alone had an effect, independent of behavioral factors."

Not a Placebo-Dependent Protocol

Unlike subjective questionnaires, HRV is an objective and clinically recognized biomarker - difficult to manipulate consciously, and widely used in cardiology and elite sports performance assessment.

"What makes HRV especially compelling is that it's not influenced by imagination or belief," Pankewich explained. "It's the nervous system speaking for itself - directly and honestly."

One participant experienced a herpes simplex flare-up, believed to be immune system activation rather than stress, temporarily lowering HRV but signaling deeper biological responsiveness. Pankewich notes this is consistent with the body shifting into regenerative processes, even if temporarily uncomfortable.

A Step Toward the Future of Regenerative Wellness

While the study acknowledges its limitations - including a small sample size and lack of lifestyle control - the data strongly supports further investigation.

"This is an early-stage study - but the implications are meaningful," said Pankewich. "If a passive environment alone can measurably improve autonomic health in just three nights, the door opens to non-pharmaceutical regeneration protocols that work with the body rather than forcing it."

He further emphasized the potential of scalar field environments as part of the future of preventative and restorative health technologies - especially for stress-driven conditions like burnout, anxiety, cardiovascular risk, and sleep dysregulation.
